Job summary

WAKOMAS Chemical Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking an IT Assistant Manager to lead infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP/NetSuite administration and digital transformation initiatives.

You will own Microsoft 365, data analytics, dashboards and automation projects, partnering with management and external vendors to improve efficiency, controls and decision-making.

Role requires strong leadership, governance, and hands-on oversight of IT projects with a focus on security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field required.
• 3-5 years IT experience with 1-2 years in supervisory/leadership role.
• Experience managing corporate IT infrastructure and end-user systems.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience with ERP systems; Oracle NetSuite preferred.
• Strong networking, endpoint security and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Experience managing external IT vendors and tech projects.
• Knowledge of data management, reporting and BI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall IT infrastructure, networks, systems, hardware, software and cybersecurity.
• Administer Microsoft 365 including users, licences, permissions, email, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
• Onboard/offboard employees, system access, devices and IT assets.
• Oversee cybersecurity controls, access management, data protection, backup and incident response.
• Manage IT assets, licences, subscriptions, vendors and annual IT budget.
• Coordinate IT helpdesk and resolve recurring issues.
• Act as system owner/admin for Oracle NetSuite ERP, including access, workflows, reporting and integrations.
• Work with departments to improve processes via data analytics, dashboards, automation and digitalisation.
• Identify and implement AI and emerging tech to boost productivity and reporting.
• Manage IT vendors and projects from implementation to post-support.
• Develop IT policies, SOPs, governance and audit/compliance documentation.
