Job summary

PMW INTERNATIONAL BERHAD in Ipoh, Malaysia seeks the Head of IT to shape and govern our technology landscape. You will lead infrastructure, cybersecurity, applications support, and vendor management while guiding digital transformation.

You will own a rolling 2–3 year IT roadmap, align IT with business goals, standardise policies across sites, manage budgets, and report risks to Management. This role demands leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to ISO compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of IT functions, including infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, applications support, and vendor management.
• Own and execute a rolling 2–3 year IT roadmap and digital transformation initiatives.
• Align IT strategy with business goals to improve efficiency, data security and compliance with ISO standards.
• Lead the IT team, manage key technology projects and monitor service delivery against SLAs.
• Standardise IT architecture and policies across all subsidiaries and sites.
• Plan IT risk management, disaster recovery and business continuity measures.
• Manage budgets, procurement, and cost optimisation while maintaining system integrity.
• Engage with stakeholders and report IT risks and performance to management.
