Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd in Malaysia, Pasir Gudang, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to maintain computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure to ensure smooth business operations. You will install and configure desktops, manage user accounts, backups, security, ERP/MES systems, and coordinate with vendors to keep IT services running efficiently.

Ideal candidate has 2–3 years experience, diploma or degree in IT, basic Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, and strong problem‑solving

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in IT/CS/CE or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant IT support experience (1–2 years if Assistant).
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking, and server administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computer hardware, software, printers, and IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, OS, and business applications.
• Assist in managing and maintaining the company's network infrastructure (LAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches, Internet).
• Support server administration, user accounts, email systems, and file sharing services.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues promptly.
• Perform system backups, software updates, and antivirus maintenance.
• Maintain IT inventory, asset records, and technical documentation.
• Support ERP, MES, attendance, payroll, and other business systems.
• Coordinate with external vendors for IT maintenance, equipment procurement, and support.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity requirements.

Support server administration, user accounts, email systems, and file sharing services.

Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues promptly.

Perform system backups, software updates, and antivirus maintenance.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant IT support experience. (If for Assistant, minimum 1–2 years)

Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and server administration.

Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working hours:

Mon to Fri, 8am to 5:30pm
