Job summary

SK Jewellery Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled IT & Network Administrator to implement, monitor, and troubleshoot network devices across our retail outlets. You will manage assets, document specs, and provide onsite support to outlets during business operations.

The role requires 3+ years in IT/network, with Mandarin and English proficiency for client communication. Travel to outlets and a valid vehicle are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of working experience in IT/network fields.

Responsibilities

• Implement, manage and troubleshoot network devices (APs, firewalls, routers, switches).
• Monitor, test, and troubleshoot network performance for optimal functionality.
• Manage IT and network assets, including inventory and documenting specifications.
• Provide first level IT and Network Helpdesk Support.
• Offer onsite IT support to outlets during business operations.

Job description

Implement, manage and troubleshoot network devices such as wireless access points, firewalls, routers, and switches.

Monitor, test, and troubleshoot network performance to ensure optimal functionality.

Manage IT and network assets, including maintaining asset updates, inventory and documenting technical specifications.

Install and configure computer hardware, software.

Provide first level IT and Network Helpdesk Support.

Provide onsite IT support to outlets during business operations .

Perform other ad-hoc tasks by superior from time-to-time.

Support standby ( remote / onsite ) for weekends and public holidays.

Involve in vendor management on maintenance services related with CCTV Systems, Access Control Systems, Alarm Systems and IT related.

Perform basic CCTV administration.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least SPM / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with IT specialization.

At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Languages required : Mandarin and English to effectively communicate with Mandarin speaking clients.

Able to create network diagrams and documentation.

Good understanding and experience in LAN, WAN, and network security overall.

Familiar with Bandwidth and performance analysis tools (e.g. Netflow) and SNMP based NMS.

Familiar with VPN, SDWan and Site to site VPN with multi-factor authentication.

Require travel to the outlets and must possess own vehicle for transportation of IT equipment's when needed.
