Job summary

SK Jewellery Group seeks a seasoned accounting professional to manage full set of accounts, ensure timely financial reporting and maintain strict compliance. The role covers AR/AP/GL, reconciliations, tax filings, and coordination with auditors and tax agents.

You will work with ERP and e-Invoicing platforms, support budgeting and management reporting, and drive process improvements while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of accounting and tax experience with full set of accounts, audits, tax filing and e-Invoicing.
• Retail or manufacturing experience is an added advantage.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.

Job description

Maintain full set of accounts independently and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Handle daily accounting duties in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL)

Perform balance sheet, bank, and subledger reconciliations, and ensure discrepancies are properly investigated and resolved

Conduct analytical review, variance analysis, and intercompany balances reconciliation

Review and verify payment transactions before submission for approval

Manage and submit daily and monthly e-Invoices through ERP system and My eInvois portal

Ensure timely submission of XBRL, tax return, transfer pricing, withholding tax, and other statutory compliance matters

Assist in tax computation, tax estimation, tax planning, and minimise tax exposure

Keep updated with laws, regulations, and developments affecting financial activities

Liaise with tax agents, auditors, company secretary, consultants, vendors, ERP consultants, and intercompany stakeholders

Coordinate with leasing department on lease-related matters

Ensure proper filing, documentation, and maintenance of accounting records

Perform inventory closing, validate stock count adjustments, and investigate discrepancies

Reconcile inventory accounts, subcontractor accounts, debtor balances, and other ledger accounts

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, and support improvement projects in accounting, billing, collection, reporting workflow, and internal controls

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, cash flow projection, treasury, and bank-related matters

Undertake ad hoc assignments and special projects as assigned from time to time

Job Requirements

Degree in Accounting or Finance

Candidates pursuing or holding MIA / ACCA / CPA will have an added advantage

At least 5 years of accounting and tax experience, with hands-on exposure to full set of accounts, audit, tax filing, and e-Invoicing

Experience in retail or manufacturing industry is an added advantage

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills

Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently under tight deadlines
