Job summary

Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a results-driven sales professional to drive ASB financing as a core product for new and existing customers. The role focuses on cross-selling personal loans and credit cards, plus active participation in roadshows, corporate visits, and telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and close sales.

You will assist customers with forms, explain product features and repayment terms, and ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Banking, Business Management or related field.
• Certifications: PCE (Life/General), CEILLI and FIMM/IPPC as applicable to license requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales Acquisition: Promote ASB Financing as core product to new and existing customers.
• Maximize Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell personal loans and credit cards to boost product holding per customer.
• Execute Multi-Channel Marketing: Participate in roadshows, corporate visits, and telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and close sales.
• Application Processing: Assist customers with filling out forms and gathering income documents.
• Customer Service: Explain features, rates and repayment terms clearly so clients understand what they are signing.
• Compliance: Ensure all applications follow bank and government rules like KYC and AMLA policies.
• Portfolio Growth: Grow Islamic products through relationship management and acquisition of new-to-bank clients.
• Compliance & Risk: Ensure all transactions and client interactions adhere to bank policies and regulations (PDPA, AMLCFT, Shariah).
