Job summary

iCrest in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor to maintain accurate records in our Warehouse Management System, coordinate cycle counts, and support stock movements.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Logistics, 2–3 years in inventory control, and the ability to work with multiple teams to improve accuracy, compliance, and customer service. This is an on-site role with opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in inventory control or logistics environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure integrity, accuracy, and timely updating of inventory records within WMS.
  • Conduct routine audits and validation checks to ensure stock movements are recorded with proper documentation.
  • Plan and execute cycle counts, stock takes, and annual inventory exercises.
  • Investigate discrepancies, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor inventory performance indicators and prepare reports.
  • Support WMS operations, troubleshooting, and process enhancements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, customer service, and IT teams on inventory activities.
  • Conduct training and coaching for warehouse personnel on inventory control and WMS processes.
  • Monitor pallet inventory, returnable assets, and movement controls.

Inventory Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timely updating of inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Conduct routine inventory audits and validation checks to ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded and supported by proper documentation.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute cycle counts, stock takes, customer audits, and annual inventory exercises.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, stock variances, and customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor inventory performance indicators and prepare inventory accuracy reports, variance reports, and customer inventory reports.
  • Support WMS operations, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, process enhancement, and user support.
  • Coordinate closely with warehouse operations, customer service, and IT teams to ensure inventory-related activities are executed efficiently.
  • Conduct training and coaching for warehouse personnel on inventory control procedures, stock handling, and WMS processes.
  • Support inventory setup, SKU master data maintenance, and system configuration for new customer onboarding and business transitions.
  • Monitor pallet inventory, returnable assets, and inventory movement controls in accordance with customer and company requirements.
  • Ensure proper inventory documentation, audit records, and SOPs are maintained and updated.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage all inventory control activities, including replenishment, pick-face management, stock transfers, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments to ensure physical and system stock accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics environment.
  • Experience in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) or contract logistics environment is preferred.
  • Experience managing inventory for multiple customers and diverse product categories is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory reporting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and inventory audit processes.
  • Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory flow management.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with customer inventory reporting and service level requirements within a 3PL operation is preferred.
