Job summary

Dai Lieng Group of Companies in Kuala Baram is seeking a Procurement & Inventory Supervisor to oversee supplier quotations, purchase orders, and stock control. You will ensure accurate goods receipt, labeling, and quality checks, coordinate new work orders for store issuing, and supervise workflows across procurement, store, and inventory control.

Based in Kuala Baram, the role involves coordinating with Workshop Production, Admin, and Costing & Billing while maintaining a safe warehouse

Responsibilities

• To oversee supplier's quotations, price comparisons, purchase orders, supplier invoices, goods receipts, and purchase returns for Procurement & Purchasing.
• To oversee the inventory and stock control, check and verify Purchase Requisition / Stock Replenishment comparison with actual stock balance in SQL system.
• To assist in checking and following up new Work Order Numbers for Store Department stock issuing purposes.
• To verify and coordinate the receiving of goods, including checking and organizing stock as it arrives and ensuring correct labelling, measurement, quality, and quantity.
• To process / reconfirm returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items as reported by the Store Department.
• To supervise office workflows regarding Procurement, Store, and Inventory Control.
• To correct any deviation in SQL editing for Stock Transactions, Stock Issues, and Purchase Orders with prior approval from HOD and Top Management.
• To ensure the warehouse environment adheres to all safety standards and regulations, overseeing compliance and promoting a safe work environment.
• To organize the warehouse layout to ensure optimal use of space and maintain a clean and well-kept storage area.
• To coordinate between Procurement and Inventory with Workshop Production, Workshop Admin, and Costing & Billing.
• To liaise with other departments and customers.
• Any other works and duties as required and assigned by the company from time to time.
