Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Business Administration / Business Studies / Business Management / Supply Chain Management / Warehouse Management or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum 3-5 years of working experience in a related field is required, preferably within the metal fabrication manufacturing industry.
• Experience handling raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and subcontractor processes is an advantage.
• Familiar with inventory control, delivery coordination, and shipment documentation.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily logistics, warehouse, and material handling activities.
• Ensure store inventory cycle counts and wall-to-wall counts are conducted according to planned schedules.
• Plan and optimize store operations to achieve set goals.
• Develop and implement a continual improvement program to shorten cycle times and optimize material management.
• Track delivery status and follow up on delayed, damaged, or missing shipments.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries and ensure goods are properly packed, labelled, and handled.
• Review and analyze inventory reports/store activities with actionable suggestions.
• Monitor stock levels for assembly parts and trigger replenishment of safety stock.
• Oversee shipment deliveries by in-house drivers or outsourced transporters.
• Maintain orderly filing of documentation for easy retrievability.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
