Job summary

PPC Moulding Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Inventory Officer/Executive to oversee stock levels, maintain records, and drive inventory accuracy at Senai Airport City, Johor. The role supports production and logistics with emphasis on documentation and process improvements.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in a related field with 2–3 years in inventory management, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP (NetSuite) systems. 5-day workweek; 8:00am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations or related role.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor inventory records using inventory management systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Plan and coordinate periodic stock checks, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure compliance with FIFO principles.
• Review material consumption and prepare aging reports.
• Prepare scrap reports and analyze scrap trends.
• Manage returns and quarantined items; ensure proper disposition.
• Ensure scrap bins are cleared and reconciled monthly.
• Identify improvements to inventory movement processes and reduce stock variances.
• Generate inventory reports and provide insights on stock status and discrepancies.

Inventory Officer/ Inventory Executive ( Plastic Injection Moulding)

We are seeking an Inventory Officer/Inventory Executive to join PPC Moulding Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Senai Airport City ( SAC), Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our inventory management operations. As an Inventory Officer/Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, ensuring proper documentation, and implementing inventory control procedures that directly support our manufacturing and logistics operations. This role is essential to ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly and that materials are available when needed for production.

Key responsibilities:

Maintain and monitor inventory records using inventory management systems and ensure data accuracy

Plan and coordinate periodic stock checks, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits to reconcile system records with actual stock levels

Monitor inventory movement and ensure compliance with inventory management principles such as FIFO.

Review material consumption.

Prepare and analyze inventory aging reports to identify slow moving and obsolete stock.

Prepare operation scrap reports, including analysis of scrap trends.

Monitor and manage inventory status , including purchase returns, sales returns and quarantined item and ensure proper control and disposition.

Ensure scrap bins are cleared and reconciled at the end of each month.

Identify and implement improvements to inventory movement processes to enhance inventory accuracy and minimize stock take variances.

Generate inventory reports and provide insights on stock status, discrepancies, and recommendations for improvement.

We are working 5 days i.e. working hours from 8am to 5:30pm.

This vacancy will be reporting to Senior Finance Manager.

What we're looking for

Diploma or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.

Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role within a manufacturing or logistics environment.

Strong proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Solid understanding of inventory control principles, stock management procedures, and best practices

Good organizational and record-keeping skills with the ability to maintain accurate documentation

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments

Physical capability to handle warehouse duties, including lifting and moving materials

Understanding of supply chain, production and warehouse operations.

Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory issues

Preferred: Experience with ERP ( NetSuite ) systems will be an added advantage.
