POSITION : Production Planning and Inventory Control
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Plan and prepare production schedules for moulding operations by updating customer forecasts. determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to meet production demands effectively.
Releasing and tracking Work Orders (WO) to production, including material tracking before closing WO. Ensures that production operations are executed as planned and that materials are used efficiently.
Issue and manage material and packaging request forms to ensure that all necessary resources are available for production.
Updating the Daily Production Plan (DPP) and Master Production Schedule (MES Graphic Planning) to reflect current production priorities and resource allocations.
Update customer Purchase Orders (POs) and forecasts to maintain accurate production planning and inventory management.
Weekly updates of packaging stock levels. Ensures that packaging materials are consistently available to support uninterrupted production and delivery.
Update the child parts monitoring sheet on a weekly basis to track the availability and status of component parts necessary for production.
Serve as a backup for senior team members, ensuring continuity of operations and availability of critical functions in their absence.
REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office- Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions.
Experience with ERP system.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Good numerical and analytical skill.
Basic understanding of KPIs such as Inventory Loss Rate (ILCR), Resin Turnover Ratio, and Over-usage.
