Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Admin to join OFFIX BUSINESS CENTRE SDN. BHD. in Muar, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our inventory management operations. As Inventory Admin, you will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, coordinating inventory movements, and ensuring seamless operations across our supply chain. This position is essential to our manufacturing and logistics operations, directly supporting our business objectives and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management systems
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Process purchase orders, receipts, and shipments in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage stock levels and implement reordering procedures to prevent stockouts or overstock situations
• Prepare and maintain inventory reports for management review and decision-making
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper organisation, labelling, and storage of inventory items
• Track and document inventory movements, transfers, and adjustments
• Assist in identifying obsolete or damaged stock and facilitating appropriate disposal or returns
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve inventory-related issues
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related administrative role within the manufacturing or logistics sector
• Strong proficiency with inventory management software and systems, with demonstrated ability to learn new platforms quickly
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Solid understanding of inventory control principles, stock management best practices, and supply chain processes
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and discrepancies in inventory data
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members across departments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, or administration are advantageous
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and compliance requirements in manufacturing and logistics is preferred
