Job summary

PPC Moulding Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Inventory Officer/Inventory Executive to support inventory control and accuracy in Senai Airport City, Johor. The role involves overseeing stock levels, documentation, and implementing control procedures to back production and logistics operations.

5-day workweek, 8am–5:30pm, with reporting to the Senior Finance Manager. Candidates should have a diploma in supply chain and 2–3 years of related experience; ERP NetSuite experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years of inventory management, warehouse operations, or similar roles in manufacturing or logistics.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy; able to multitask.
• Understanding of inventory control principles, stock management procedures, and best practices.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills; able to maintain accurate documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration across departments.
• Ability to handle warehouse duties physically, including lifting and moving materials.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor inventory records and ensure data accuracy.
• Coordinate periodic stock checks, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure FIFO compliance.
• Review material consumption and aging reports for slow/mobsolete stock.
• Prepare scrap reports and analyze scrap trends.
• Manage returns and quarantined items; ensure proper disposition.
• Generate inventory reports and provide insights for improvements.
