Job summary

ResMed (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (MY) is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to partner with 3PLs and internal teams to maintain accurate inventory across all country warehouses.

You will support cycle counts, reconciliations, and replenishment reporting to ensure on-time material availability for manufacturing. A Diploma in a related field, 1-2 years of inventory experience, ERP exposure (Oracle/SAP), strong Excel, and English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related operations role.
• Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, or similar).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis and macro programming.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory accuracy across all warehouses in country, ensuring records are accurate and aligned with system transactions.
• Collaborate with 3PL and internal departments to investigate inventory discrepancies and drive corrective actions.
• Generate inventory replenishment reports aligned to production plans to ensure timely material availability for manufacturing.
• Execute system inventory transactions including stock requests, adjustments, returns, and transfers per company policies.
• Conduct cycle counts and observation counts for internal and 3PL warehouses with variance analysis and escalation as needed.
• Coordinate with the global inventory control team to update and improve inventory control procedures and SOPs.
• Request new sub-inventories and locators per policies and system governance.
• Support inventory audits and ensure audit readiness and documentation accuracy.
• Monitor irregularities like variances, ageing, and slow-moving stock, providing regular reporting to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational reliability.
