AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. seeks an experienced Inventory Control Manager to oversee inventory control, warehouse, and logistics within a manufacturing environment. You will lead a team, optimize stock, and ensure accuracy to support production and customer needs.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and develop cross-functional collaboration to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential for success.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Proven experience in Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, Materials Management or Supply Chain Operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, receiving, stockroom management and shipping processes.
• Good understanding of global and regional logistics operations and supply chain practices.
• Experience in leading and managing warehouse, inventory control and logistics teams.
• Strong knowledge of inventory planning, stock accuracy, physical inventory management and process optimization.
• Proven track record in implementing continuous improvement, productivity enhancement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including departmental budgeting, forecasting and cost management.
• Knowledge of international customs regulations, import/export procedures and taxation requirements will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to oversee and manage the overall inventory control, warehouse and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory planning, stockroom management, receiving, shipping and inventory accuracy while leading a team of inventory and warehouse personnel. This role will focus on optimizing inventory management processes, improving operational efficiency, controlling departmental costs and ensuring effective support for production and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Warehouse Operations

Oversee and manage all inventory control activities, including receiving, stockroom operations, material preparation, shipping and inventory analysis.

Ensure inventory accuracy, proper stock management and effective material handling processes.

Coordinate and oversee regular physical inventory counts and stock reconciliation activities.

Establish and implement inventory control procedures to improve operational efficiency and minimize inventory discrepancies.

Monitor inventory performance and identify opportunities to improve stock utilization and warehouse productivity.

Lead, recruit, develop and manage Inventory Control, Stockroom, Warehouse and Shipping teams.

3. Strategic Planning & Cost Management

Develop and implement inventory control strategies aligned with overall business and operational objectives.

Monitor departmental budgets, operating expenses and cost trends.

Identify cost-reduction opportunities through process improvements, workflow optimization and elimination of non-value-added activities.

Prepare departmental forecasts and analyze historical performance to improve planning accuracy.

Work closely with management and cross-functional departments to support business requirements and operational planning.

4. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

Drive continuous improvement initiatives through performance monitoring, trend analysis and operational metrics.

Review and optimize inventory management procedures, workflows and work instructions.

Establish effective measurement systems to monitor inventory performance and operational efficiency.

Identify and implement industry best practices to enhance inventory control and warehouse operations.

Collaborate with other departments and facilities to share best practices and improve operational standards.

5. Stakeholder & Compliance Management

Work closely with Production, Operations, Supply Chain and other relevant departments to ensure smooth material flow and inventory availability.

Provide regular operational updates and performance reports to senior management.

Address customer and internal operational issues promptly and effectively.

Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety regulations and inventory control procedures.

Maintain proper handling of sensitive and confidential business information.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related discipline.

Proven experience in Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, Materials Management or Supply Chain Operations within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, receiving, stockroom management and shipping processes.
