AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Section Manager for an Electronics Manufacturing / MNC. The role oversees inventory control activities and leads a team of analysts to ensure accurate stock records and efficient operations.

The candidate will develop strategies, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement to support business objectives within a manufacturing environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in inventory control, logistics strategy, cost management and CI.
• Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control activities including receiving, stockroom, preparation and shipping.
• Supervise Inventory Analysts and ensure accuracy of counts and records.
• Develop and implement inventory control strategies aligned with business needs.
• Monitor metrics, analyse trends and provide regular performance updates to management.
• Drive process improvements and promote best practices across facilities.

Our client is an established manufacturing company seeking an experienced Inventory Control Section Manager to oversee inventory control operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory-related functions, developing operational strategies and driving continuous improvement to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control activities covering receiving, stockroom, preparation, shipping and Inventory Analysts.
• Develop and implement inventory control strategies aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, eliminate non-value-added activities and improve departmental cost efficiency.
• Monitor operational metrics, analyse trends, prepare forecasts and provide regular performance updates to management.
• Drive process improvements, establish measurement systems and promote the adoption of best practices across facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry practices.
• Experience in inventory control, logistics strategy, cost management and continuous improvement.
