Job summary

Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd invites applications for an Internship Trainee in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment).

You will gain hands-on exposure to safety management practices within a manufacturing setting, supporting inspections, audits, chemical handling, PPE distribution, and contractor onboarding through structured training and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) or equivalent.
• CGPA 3.0 or Second Class Upper or equivalent.
• Proficient in Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Available for at least 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Support safety inspections and audits to uphold safety compliance.
• Assist site chemical management, including handling, storage & record-keeping.
• Support PPE management and distribution.
• Assist in coordinating safety inductions, training sessions, and contractor management activities.
• Participate in safety improvement initiatives and safety campaigns.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

INTERNSHIP TRAINEE, HSSE (HEALTH, SAFETY, SECURITY & ENVIRONMENT)

We’re looking for detail-oriented, proactive, and safety-conscious individuals to join us as an Internship Trainee in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment). This is an opportunity to support workplace safety and compliance initiatives while gaining hands‑on exposure to safety management practices in a manufacturing environment.

Through structured training, practical workplace exposure, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, you’ll gain experience in safety inspections, audits, chemical and PPE management, and contractor safety onboarding. If you are passionate about creating a safe workplace, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing

Support workplace safety inspections and audits to uphold safety compliance and best practices.

Assist in site chemical management, including proper handling, storage, and record maintenance.

Support the management and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Assist in coordinating safety inductions, training sessions, and contractor management activities.

Participate in safety improvement initiatives, projects, campaigns, and engagement activities to promote a strong safety culture.

Undertake any additional duties or responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
