Job summary

Givaudan Malaysia is offering an EHS Intern position based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka. You will shadow senior colleagues, assist with safety checks, documentation, and environmental activities while learning in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Bachelor's students in EHS or Engineering with good English and Malay, a curious mindset, and a willingness to learn are invited. Minimum 4 months internship; attractive benefits and internship allowance provided.

• Bachelor's degree / University student majoring in EHS or Engineering related fields.
• Additional work experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong eagerness to learn.
• A curious mindset, and technology-savvy.
• Proficiency in English and Malay.
• Available for an internship period for minimum 4 months.
• Able to work in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

Responsibilities

• Assist with workplace safety checks, inspections, and safety activities.
• Help maintain EHS records, reports, and compliance documents.
• Support incident reporting, emergency drills, and follow-up actions.
• Assist with chemical safety, PPE checks, and health-related records.
• Support environmental and sustainability activities such as waste and utility monitoring.
• Help prepare for EHS audits and track improvement actions.
• Participate in EHS projects and present recommendations at the end of the internship.
• Assist in preparing and updating engineering SOPs and documentation.
• Support engineering projects and maintain related records.
• Assist in improving workplace organization, 5S, and housekeeping practices.
• Support equipment health checks and spare parts management.
• Help coordinate housekeeping and maintenance activities in the production area.

Intern - Your future position?

As the Intern , you will perform assigned duties and shadow senior colleagues to gain knowledge and experience in a designated area or function, following the learning plan and company talent needs.

You will report to the EHS & Engineering Manager while being based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
