Job summary

Nippon Paint (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Compliance and Quality Officer to support manufacturing plants. You will develop training materials, signage, and SOPs to improve production operations, and coordinate activities related to compliance.

You will implement corrective action plans, monitor progress, and ensure quality, safety, health and environmental measures are applied on the production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field from recognised university.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in manufacturing line is an advantage; not mandatory.

You will be assisting in meeting set productivity and efficiency level by ensuring compliance at our manufacturing plants. Besides dealing with the challenges that come along with this portfolio, you will also experience and contribute to our dynamic working culture. Your responsibilities will require you to communicate extensively with various stakeholders from both internally within the Company or group of companies and externally with our business partners.

Below is a synopsis of your job function:

Developing training material, signage, and SOPs to improve production operations.

Coordinate and manage activities related to compliance.

Implementing corrective action plans and monitoring the progress for improvement.

Ensuring quality, safety, health and environmental measures are implemented in the production lines.

Requirements:

Background:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, or other related field from recognised university or

Experience:

Prior experience working at manufacturing line will be an added advantage.

Knowledge & Skill:

• Proficient in MS Office applications - PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and / or ISO 45001 will be advantageous.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills, meticulous and delivers quality work.
• Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging yet fun environment.
• A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details.
• A good team player and communicator.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Good presentation skills and able to communicate with all levels.
