PETRONAS Chemicals Marketing (Labuan) Ltd is seeking an intern to join our KLCC office and support our PCML S&D HSSE team. This role is ideal for an engineering or safety-related degree holder looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment.
As an intern for PCML S&D HSSE, you will play a crucial role in assisting with daily Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) activities and programs. Your contributions will help ensure the well-being and safety of our workforce and the sustainable management of our operations. Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of HSSE programs and initiatives.
- Support the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct HSSE audits and inspections to identify potential risks and hazards.
- Collaborate with the HSSE team to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Assist in the investigation and reporting of incidents and near misses.
- Participate in HSSE training sessions and workshops to enhance your knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HSSE activities.
- Support the development of HSSE awareness and education programs.
- Assist in the preparation of HSSE reports and presentations as required.
Qualifications
- Degree holder in Engineering, Safety, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HSSE management and a commitment to safety excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and responsibilities.
- Minimum commitment of 6 months to the internship program.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
