Job summary

Gadang Holdings Berhad is seeking an enthusiastic HSE Intern to join our Health, Safety & Environment team on a contract basis. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will gain practical exposure to HSE practices on active construction sites and at our corporate offices, under mentorship from experienced professionals.

You will assist with implementing HSE requirements, conduct safety inspections, prepare documentation, and support environmental and emergency planning activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in OSH or Environmental Management.
• Basic knowledge of OSH principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Willing to be base at site office near Bukit Tinggi area; own transportation preferred.
• Preference for candidates available for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist the HSE team in implementing HSE requirements on projects.
• Support daily site safety inspections and compliance monitoring.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports and records.
• Support environmental management and emergency preparedness activities.
• Perform other HSE related duties assigned by the SHO and manager.

About the role
