Job summary

Giant Platinum in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Operations Executive to support POS systems and deliver excellent customer service. The role blends on-site operational support (about 30%) with customer service, coordination, and technical support (about 70%).

You will be a key contact for customers, ensuring timely issue resolution, coordinating service requests, and handling installations with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin or Chinese dialects will be an added advantage.
• Friendly, patient, responsible, and able to communicate clearly with customers.
• Comfortable handling basic technical troubleshooting; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day customer support through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and remote assistance.
• Handle customer enquiries, POS-system issues, service requests, and follow-ups in a timely manner.
• Record, track, and coordinate support tickets with the technical and operations teams.
• Conduct on-site visits for POS installation, basic setup, customer training, troubleshooting, servicing, and project support.
• Assist customers with POS hardware, printers, barcode scanners, payment devices, and related system components.
• Coordinate appointment schedules, service jobs, deliveries, installation activities, and customer handovers.
• Follow up with customers after installation or service to ensure issues are resolved and customer satisfaction is maintained.
• Prepare simple service reports, job updates, customer records, and internal operational documentation.
• Support the team in improving service processes and maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
