Job summary

PIC Engineering Solutions Sdn Bhd is offering a Practical Trainee position to support engineers in project delivery across diverse projects. The role includes assisting with project documentation, receiving parcels, and performing function tests on items received, while contributing to smooth workshop operations.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in or have recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic, Instrumentation & Control, Automation,

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support engineers in the project delivery of various projects
• Assist with project documentation, receive parcels, and function test for received items
• Ensure smooth and efficient workshop operations
• Learn and support continuous improvement, development processes and design workflows
• Investigate processes and defects caused by machines and identify improvement methods
• Provide support and ensure production and quality issues are resolved
• Submit daily reports for Supervisor to check and verify
• Complete tasks assigned by Superior related to basic operational needs

Education

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Electrical & Electronic / Instrumentation & Control / Automation / Industrial Engineering

Job description

Practical Trainee position supporting engineers in project delivery across various projects. The role involves assisting with project documentation, receiving parcels, and conducting function tests on received items. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient workshop operations, learning and supporting continuous improvement processes, development processes, and design workflows to minimize unnecessary stoppages and breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

Assist and support engineers in the project delivery of various projects

Assist with project documentation, receive parcels, and function test for the received items and function test report

Ensure a smooth and efficient mode of workshop operation

Learn and support continuous improvement process, development process, and design workflows to minimize unnecessary stoppages and breakdown

Investigate the process and defects caused by machines and identify ways to improve

Provide support and ensure production and quality issues are resolved

Submit daily reports for Supervisor to check and verify

Complete any related tasks assigned by the Superior that fall under basic operational needs

About you

Currently enrolled in or recently completed Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology or other related engineering disciplines
