Job summary

Education Malaysia seeks an Immigration Support Officer to ensure swift, compliant arrival of international students and to verify records for a smooth immigration flow. You will serve as the main contact with the Immigration Department, coordinate with agencies and provide essential arrival guidance to students.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification; further studies (Diploma/Degree) in Hospitality or related fields are an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with diverse groups.
• Positive attitude, strong sense of responsibility and willingness to learn.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays according to flight schedules.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable in an airport-based environment, including standing or walking for extended periods.
• Basic computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a swift, seamless and positive immigration clearance experience for all international students upon arrival.
• Maintain full compliance and data accuracy by verifying international student records through the designated system.
• Deliver end-to-end support, equipping international students with necessary information and resources.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Immigration Department and resolve student-related matters efficiently.
• Cultivate a robust communication channel to address stakeholders' needs and feedback.
• Guarantee student compliance with SOPs and guidelines to avoid delays during entry.
• Ensure safe, secure and timely transit of special delegations with professional guide services.
• Increase public awareness and engagement with ISAC services through informative video demonstrations and digital content.
