Job summary

Siegwerk Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive intern to support production scheduling and data management. You will verify and disseminate schedules to production staff and help ensure resources are available to meet plan targets.

You will gain exposure to end-to-end production processes, learn to maintain accurate production records, and report on data-driven progress. The role offers an internship with RM1,700 monthly, potential extension, in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in any field is required.
• Minimum internship period of 3 months, with possible extension.
• Monthly allowance of RM1,700 provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide input, verify and distribute production schedules to production staff.
• Understand the entire production process to ensure accurate planning.
• Maintain production records including volume, raw material usage and quality controls.
• Communicate relevant information to production management to ensure adequate resources.
• Record and analyze production data and report progress to superiors.
• Generate schedule reports from customer orders and allocate tasks to staff.
• Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments.

Key responsibilities

Understand the entire production process

Ensure the records are maintained (e.g. production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures)

Ensure appropriate information is communicated to production management to ensure adequate resources are available

Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials and quality control measures

Conduct regular and/or ad hoc analysis of data relating to work processes; report to their superiors on any progress that has been made on the project

Discuss progress of work with production supervisors and compile reports on production volume, quality control and material inventory

Gather information from customer orders and create schedules for production staff to follow

Distribute production schedules or work orders to departments

About you
