Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Attached to Production Department on site and involved in daily operations.
• Assist with process improvement activities with the production team.
• Perform statistical data analysis for process and productivity improvements.
• Assist in developing and updating SOPs for site production activities.
• Assist in creating production support documentation including operations processes.

Position overview

allnex is looking for a Production Intern to join the team in our site in Melaka, Malaysia.In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the working of a chemical manufacturing plant. You will be involved in the continuous efforts of our production plant in Melaka, and will be working with a team who is keen to help you learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• To be attached to the Production Department on site and be involved in daily operations
• To assist with process improvement activities and work with the production team for implementation
• To perform statistical analysis and evaluation of data for process and productivity improvements
• To assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures for site production activities
• To assist in creating production support documentation including operations process and productivity

Required skills and experience

• At least 6 months of availability for the intership period
• Tech-savy and has basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
• Meticulous and is comfotable working with data
• Curious about the chemical industry and has a genuine interest in a career in chemicals

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or any other related field of study.
