Job summary

Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited is seeking an Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineer to design and optimize production lines, establish NPIs, and ensure smooth transitions from development to production. You will maintain SAP routings, create standard times, and drive continuous improvement through Lean and IE methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Over 2 years' experience in electronics or related fields.
• Proficient in English; Chinese language proficiency is mandatory.
• Chinese listening/speaking ability is optional.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Strong knowledge of the 7 IE tools and process analysis techniques.
• Experience with SAP routing maintenance and standard time studies.
• Experience in SOP creation, work standard development, and production training.
• Familiar with manufacturing simulation software such as FlexSim or Visual Components.
• Knowledge of automation equipment applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize new production lines to improve efficiency and productivity.

• Analyze and improve manufacturing processes via IE, Lean, and CI.
• Evaluate production capacity, manpower, and equipment utilization.

• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process flow charts; train shop-floor personnel.
• Drive cost reduction and productivity improvements through waste elimination.
• Develop and enhance IE tools and methodologies to boost performance.
• Use FlexSim/Visual Components to analyze production scenarios and layout optimization.

Job description

Your main role is to:

Design and optimize new production lines, including greenfield and brownfield manufacturing projects, to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

Arrange and establish mass production processes for new product introductions (NPI), ensuring smooth transition from development to production.

Maintain SAP routings and create standard times for manufacturing processes to support accurate planning and costing.

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes through Industrial Engineering methodologies, Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Evaluate production capacity, manpower requirements, and equipment utilization for each product model to support business growth and operational planning.

Improve line balancing, material flow, and process efficiency through data analysis, workflow optimization, and bottleneck reduction.

Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process flow charts, and manufacturing standards, while providing training to shop-floor personnel.

Drive production cost reduction and productivity improvement projects through waste elimination and process optimization.

Develop, introduce, and enhance Industrial Engineering tools and methodologies to improve manufacturing performance.

Utilize simulation software such as FlexSim or Visual Components to analyze production scenarios, validate capacity planning, and support factory layout optimization.

Who are we looking for?

Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering

Over 2 years' experience as the electronics or related fields

Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese proficiency language is mandatory.

Ability to communicate in Chinese listening/speaking is optional.

Microsoft Office ProgramExcel / PowerPoint / Word

Proficient in the 7 Tools of Industrial Engineering and process analysis techniques.

Experience with SAP routing maintenance and standard time studies.

Experience in SOP creation, work standard development, and production training.

Familiarity with manufacturing simulation software such as FlexSim, Visual Components, or equivalent tools is highly preferred.
