Job summary

Sunway Multicare Pharmacy seeks a detail-oriented Procurement Intern to support purchasing and inventory operations within a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. This internship offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end procurement processes, supplier coordination, and inventory management.

You will gain hands-on experience in procurement, data analysis, and reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a structured corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the procurement team in creating and processing purchase orders and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Work with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and ensure optimal turnover.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and generate reports as needed.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Perform other duties assigned by Management.

• Support the procurement team in the creation and processing of purchase orders and ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policies and timely delivery of goods.
• Work with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory turnover.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and generate reports as needed.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy or any related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
