Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Merchandising Intern to gain hands-on experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, sales analysis, visual merchandising, and store promotions. You will work closely with Operations, Marketing, Purchasing, and Retail teams in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires actively pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management, with strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Office.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assist in analyzing sales performance, product trends, and business reports.
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory planning across retail outlets.
• Track fast-selling and slow-moving products and assist in replenishment planning.
• Support visual merchandising (VM) execution to ensure stores comply with brand standards.
• Assist in coordinating promotional campaigns, product launches, and in-store marketing activities.
• Prepare sales, inventory, and merchandising reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Coordinate product samples, photoshoots, and merchandising materials.
• Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Purchasing, and Retail teams to support daily merchandising activities.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including invoice verification, data entry, and documentation.
• Contribute ideas to improve sales performance, customer experience, and merchandising effectiveness.
