Job summary

DKSH Malaysia Sdn Bhd is looking for a software solutions specialist to design and analyze IT applications in line with Business Solutions standards and processes. The role covers researching BS-related applications, translating business requirements into feasible solutions, and sharing best practices with the team while upholding coding standards to deliver reliable systems that satisfy users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computing/Information Technology.
• Exposure to .Net technology.
• Knowledge of a product management environment.
• Strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in local language and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Test and design application solutions aligned with IT applications standards and processes.
• Research BS-related apps using new technologies for development.
• Analyze business requirements and translate into feasible solutions considering design/finance/ops aspects.
• Share best practices with IT experts on BS design, development, processes and policies.
• Adhere to coding standards defined by management and ensure optimal performance.
• Communicate user needs and ensure systems meet user satisfaction.
• Engage with IT to identify deficiencies and propose fixes.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training to ensure continuity.

Job description

• Testing application solution designs, aligning with defined IT applications, Business Solutions standards and processes to ensure adherence;
• Research and analyse Business Solutions related applications on new technologies as a part of Business Solutions development;
• Check and analyse business requirements, in turn developing appropriate application solutions, considering technical design/financial/operations aspects;
• Share best practices with other subject matter experts in the team related to BS application design, development, processes and policies;
• Adhere to development and coding standards as defined by technical management;
• Communicate user needs and priorities, ensuring systems developed operate at optimal performance, as well as to the user's satisfaction;
• Engage with other IT and identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions;
• Conduct knowledge transfer, training and best practice sharing with internal IT or internal stakeholders to ensure knowledge availability/continuity.

Functional skills and knowledge

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computing/Information Technology or its equivalent.
• Having exposure on .Net technology
• Have knowledge in a product management environment.
• Strong sense of work ownership and a desire for constant improvement.
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken;
