Job summary

Bina Warehouse, a long-established luxury kitchen and bathroom specialist in Malaysia, seeks an Interior Designer Manager to lead its luxury kitchen department. This senior role requires driving sales, shaping strategy, and managing a high-caliber team across design, operations and installation.

You will work with world-class brands, including SieMatic, and play a pivotal role during showroom renovations, developing partnerships with interior designers, architects and high-net-worth clients.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Interior Design/Interior Architecture or equivalent.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in high-end interior design or luxury kitchens.
• Sales management, business development or proven track record of high sales achievement.
• Prefer experience in luxury interiors, premium brands or luxury clients.
• Strong network or ability to build relationship with interior designers, architects and high-end residential clients.
• Strong understanding of luxury client expectations and premium service standards.
• Commercially driven, with the ability to set strategies and achieve sales targets.
• Design-oriented, with a refined eye for aesthetics, detail and spatial experience.
• Able to lead a team confidently

• Articulate and presentable.
• Knowledge & Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in interior design software
• Languages: Fluent in English and able to converse in other languages such as Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia.

Lead the Business

Lead and grow the company’s luxury imported kitchen business, representing brands such as SieMatic from Germany

Develop and execute strategies to achieve the agreed sales targets for the department

Maximise sales by enhancing cross-selling from the vast range of other products within Bina Warehouse, including kitchen appliances, sinks, mixers, wardrobes, whole-house solutions, and bathrooms.

Position the showroom as a destination for luxury kitchen design in Kuala Lumpur

Lead the Team

Provide leadership and direction to the team

Lead, develop, and unite the sales, design, operations and installation functions towards common goals

Ensure the team produces high-standards of aesthetics and design for clients' spaces

Strengthen department capabilities through recruitment and team development

Lead the Client Experience

Manage the team\'s full sales & ID process, from lead generation, proposal presentations, follow-up, closing, installation and service

Work closely with suppliers and installation partners to ensure a seamless client journey

Build the Market

Execute marketing and business development initiatives, including:

• Designer and architect networking sessions
• Showroom tours
• Brand experiences and collaboration

Develop strategic partnerships that strengthen the company's presence in the luxury residential market

Build and strengthen relationships with interior designers, architects, developers, and high-net-worth clients
