Job summary

T Design is seeking a motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our team in Malaysia. You will develop interior concepts, create 3D models and drawings, and support documentation from concept through to final presentation.

Fresh graduates are welcome. You should have a diploma or degree in Interior Design or related field, basic to intermediate 3D modelling and drafting skills, and a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and related software is a plus.

T Design is looking for a motivated and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our team. This role is suitable for someone who is passionate about interior design and wants to develop their skills through involvement in real projects from concept development through to documentation.

You will work closely with the design team to develop interior design concepts, produce 3D models and drawings, prepare material boards, and assist with the overall design development process.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce 3D interior models and visualisations based on design concepts and project requirements.

Assist with design development, including space planning, furniture layouts, finishes and design details.

Prepare material and finish boards for design presentations.

Produce and update 2D drawings and technical drafting.

Assist in preparing design presentations, drawings and other project documentation.

Coordinate with the design team to ensure drawings and 3D models are accurate and aligned with the design intent.

Revise drawings, 3D models and design materials based on project feedback.

Assist with other design-related tasks throughout the project as required.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of 3D modelling and drafting software.

Good understanding of interior design principles, materials, finishes and spatial planning.

Able to read and understand technical drawings.

Creative, detail-oriented and willing to learn.

Able to work independently as well as as part of a team.

Good time management and ability to meet project deadlines.

Skills

Experience with software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Enscape, V-Ray, 3ds Max, Photoshop or Adobe Creative Suite will be an advantage.
