Job summary

Inazume (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking an ambitious interior designer to join their team. You will contribute to design development, space planning, drawings, and client coordination to deliver high-quality spaces.

Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of experience are welcome; you will work with software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Lumion, gaining exposure to large construction projects and professional training.

• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of relevant experience in interior design or related fields.
• Strong conceptual thinking with attention to detail.
• Good communication, coordination and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide design development, space planning, material and finishes selection.
• Prepare drawings and visual presentations; coordinate with clients and consultants.
• Review shop drawings, coordinate on site, ensure design compliance, meet schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

Provide design development, space planning, material and finishes selection, preparation of drawings and visual presentations, client/consultant coordination, shop drawing review, site coordination, and design compliance, ensuring the completed works meet the approved design, functional requirements, budget, and project schedule.

About you

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or other related fields

Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of relevant experience in interior design or related fields

Good understanding and conceptual thinking with attention to detail

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3DMax, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering software (such as Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray)

Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills

Able to manage multiple tasks and projects, meet deadlines, and maintain design requirements

Able to work independently and collaboratively within a project team

Strong problem-solving skills and design coordination, with willingness to learn and adapt
