Job summary

Double Dynasty Holdings Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced interior designer to develop concepts, layouts, mood boards, and presentations for hotel, residential or commercial projects. You will coordinate with architects, consultants and suppliers to translate client needs into feasible designs.

Applicants should have a diploma or degree in Interior Design or related field, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit and Photoshop.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in interior design, property, hospitality or related industries.
• Experience in hotel, residential or commercial projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, space planning, layouts and presentations.
• Develop standardised interior design packages for customers, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting and decorative elements.
• Create different package tiers, design themes and upgrade options according to target market and project requirements.
• Prepare mood boards, layouts, 3D visualisations, material selections and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
• Conduct site visits and monitor design implementation, workmanship and finishes.
• Assist with renovations, refurbishments and property improvement projects.
• Source and select furniture, fixtures, finishes and decorative elements.
• Ensure projects meet design, quality, budget and timeline requirements.
• Review and update packages based on market trends, customer preferences, project requirements and cost considerations.
