Job summary

INAZUME (M) SDN BHD is seeking a capable Site Supervisor to oversee interior fit-out works on site in Penang, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedule.

You will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants, monitor progress, inspect workmanship and materials, and address issues promptly while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in interior-related field required.
• 2–3 years of site supervision experience in interior fit-out or construction.
• Good knowledge of interior fit-out works and ability to read construction/shop drawings.
• Willingness to work on-site and after-hours when needed.

Job description

Responsible for supervising and coordinating interior fit-out works on site, ensuring works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedule. Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants; monitor site progress, workmanship and materials; conduct site inspections; resolve site issues; and ensure proper safety, housekeeping, and timely completion of works.

Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants

Monitor site progress, workmanship and materials

Conduct site inspections

Resolve site issues

Ensure proper safety, housekeeping, and timely completion of works

Monitor site progress, quality and schedule, and provide regular progress updates

Handle site issues and coordination independently

About you

Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or other related fields

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant site supervision experience in interior fit-out, renovation, or construction works

Good knowledge of interior fit-out works, including partition, ceiling, flooring, joinery, painting, glass and other finishing works

Able to read and understand construction, ID and shop drawings

Good understanding of site installation methods, materials and workmanship standards

Able to coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site workers effectively

Good problem-solving skills and able to handle site issues and coordination independently

Good communication and teamwork skills when coordinating with project managers, designers, consultants and clients

Basic knowledge of site safety requirements and proper site housekeeping

Willing to work on-site and, when required, after normal working hours or weekends to suit the project schedule
