The ideal candidate holds a law degree and a valid practising certificate, with 3–5 years of IP experience, strong research and communication skills, and a commitment to client service and professional excellence.

Responsibilities

The candidate will play an essential role in the advisory and management of our clients in Intellectual Property. The scope of work includes :-

Advising and representing clients in a wide range of IP and Corporate matters, including IP related litigation work

Conducting legal research, analysing case law, and preparing comprehensive legal documents

Familiar with trade mark process.

Appearing before the Malaysian Intellectual Property Office and representing clients during opposition, invalidation and cancellation proceedings

Maintaining a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices

Collaborating closely with the legal team to ensure seamless case management and client service

Continuously developing your legal knowledge and skills to provide the best possible service

Job Requirements

• A law degree and a valid practising certificate
• From PQE 3 - 5 years of experience in Intellectual Property
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly
• Demonstrated track record of successful client representation
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service
• Competent, efficient, determined, passionate and have high standards of integrity, service, professionalism and excellence
