Chubb Malaysia is seeking a results-driven business development professional to grow our broker and agent network. You will cultivate relationships, drive new agency appointments, and expand market share while collaborating with underwriting and field operations.

You must have underwriting or broker/agent sales experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Underwriting or broker/agent sales experience in insurance.
• Business development experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and quickly assimilate learning materials.
• Ability to work in a team and matrix reporting environment.

Responsabilités

• Call on insurance brokers and agents within a predetermined territory/geography.
• Capture market share, new agency appointments, and revenue growth.
• Generate opportunities to acquire new business through business development with assigned brokers and agents.
• Build relationships with key partnerships locally and regionally to assist in business development opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual production goals.
• Work closely with commercial underwriting staff and local field operations leadership.
• Ensure that products/services are competitively positioned in the market.
• Manage pipeline of key customers to meet and exceed growth goals and objectives.
• Serve as point of contact and relationship manager for assigned producers.
• Effectively manage daily, weekly, and monthly goals and tracking responsibilities.
• Work with underwriting to evaluate, price and propose rate and strategy on small to large commercial accounts.
