Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor Bahru is seeking a sales support professional to handle customer inquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp and other channels. You will understand requirements and recommend suitable products, prepare quotations and product information, and submit proposals to win orders.

You will monitor order status, update customers on delivery schedules, coordinate with HQ on pricing and lead times, and maintain accurate sales records in the CRM.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries through phone, email, WhatsApp and other communication channels.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Prepare and submit quotations, proposals and product information.
• Conduct follow-up calls and communication to improve quotation conversion.
• Support outdoor sales team with customer enquiries and quotations.
• Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective customers for sales appointments, product demo or proposal.
• Process customer purchase orders and sales orders accurately.
• Prepare sales documents, quotations, order confirmations and invoices where required.
• Check product availability, pricing, lead time and delivery requirements with HQ.
• Monitor order status and update customers on delivery schedules.
• Follow up on backorders, pending deliveries and outstanding orders.
• Maintain accurate customer, quotation and sales records.
• Update CRM systems and PO record.
• Maintain proper filing of quotations, purchase orders and related sales documents.
• Handle basic customer complaints and coordinate resolution with the relevant department.
• Ensure customer requests are communicated clearly and followed through to completion.
