Aurelius Healthcare is seeking an accomplished IT leader to oversee the hospital's information technology strategy and operations. You will guide development, installation, and maintenance of critical hospital infrastructure, ensuring 24x7 availability and robust security across systems and networks.
The role emphasizes data analysis, policy development, and staff leadership within a healthcare environment, with liaison to department heads to prioritize IT initiatives.

Responsible for IT administration and management for the hospital, including servers, networks, wireless Access Points, infrastructure security, backup, endpoint hardware, email & web. This includes implementation, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring, and the development of procedures within the Hospital. Assist the Manager to provide the information-technology-driven aspect of the hospital services to ensure operational efficiency, and support clinical and administrative work in providing excellent patient care.
Assist the Manager to ensure the IT department's smooth daily operation
In charge of development, installation, configuration, and maintenance of Hospital infrastructure and hardware; Ensure necessary infrastructure/procedure is in place to facilitate 24x7 uninterrupted smooth operation
Develop/implement and maintain backup/recovery/disaster recovery procedures to maximize systems availability and stability
Ensure security of Hospital systems/network and data protection.
Responsible for IT asset management and assist the Manager to ensure license compliance.
Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and standards to continuously improve the IT department's overall efficiency and productivity, and compliance with legal requirements.
Supervise and manage assigned subordinate staff and train staff; Evaluate employee performance and provide guidance and feedback.
Work closely with department heads and/or designated staff and healthcare providers to identify and prioritize work requirements.
Identify, recommend, and manage deployment of 'best of breed' hardware and software upgrades and purchases of IT items.
Assist in managing IT support coverage during off-office hours, weekends, and Public Holidays
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
Minimum 7 years' experience in a similar capacity
5 years in a senior executive position
Working Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
Ability to interpret and analyse large amounts of data; maintain a good working knowledge of data reporting requirements
The ability to work flexibly under pressure, be self-motivating and prioritise unscheduled as well as scheduled work
Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work well with others
Honest, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality
