Job summary

Randstad Malaysia seeks a senior professional to lead commercial strategy for advanced control platforms and industrial software suites. You will bridge software capabilities with client needs to accelerate digital adoption and market expansion, interfacing with enterprise accounts and key vendors.

The role requires strong technical and analytical skills, 5+ years in industrial software sales or marketing, and willingness to travel for client engagements and principal meetings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial software sales, application engineering, or product marketing.
• Solid technical domain knowledge in PLCs/PACs, HMI/SCADA, industrial networks, and industrial software environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the commercial capability to drive targeted go-to-market strategies.
• Possess own transport and willingness to travel outstation for client engagements and principal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute product marketing strategies to increase adoption of control platforms, HMI/SCADA, MES, and IIoT software.
• Serve as the software subject matter expert, advising clients and sales teams on control architecture design and software licensing.
• Collaborate with principal vendors to align local market demands, software trends, and strategic commercial initiatives.
• Partner with internal sales teams to build pipeline, enter target industry segments, and navigate complex solution sales cycles.
• Lead initiatives to refine and enhance control and software solution packages based on market requirements and customer feedback.
