Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Application Engineer or Industrial Automation Specialist to serve as the core technical expert and brand champion for a world-renowned global control systems brand.

You will bridge international brand partners, client engineers, and internal commercial teams, while driving advanced engineering design, custom technical solutions, and technical excellence across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong background in industrial control systems, PLC, drive, or automation architectures.
• Experience in pre-sales technical support, application engineering, or product management.
• Excellent communication to bridge engineers, brand partners, and commercial teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for complex automation projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as the core technical expert and champion for the designated global brand business unit.
• Support sales engineering teams by designing comprehensive, custom technical solutions for clients.
• Conduct advanced product demonstrations and resolve complex technical queries from customers.
• Bridge communication between global brand partners, internal sales teams, and corporate accounts.
• Stay updated on global product advancements to maintain a competitive technical edge.
