Job summary
Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking a Senior / Staff Engineer to build automation software and intelligent machine control systems, integrating PLC, robotics, motion control, HMI/SCADA and machine vision.
The role requires a degree or diploma in CS, mechatronics or electronics, at least 6 years in industrial automation software, and hands-on PLC/HMI/SCADA experience with cross‑functional teams on local and overseas projects.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering
- At least 6 years experience in industrial automation software development
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, motion control and machine integration
- Knowledge of servo motors, sensors, industrial communication protocols and troubleshooting
- Experience with C#/C++/Java, robotics or machine vision is an added advantage
Responsibilities
- Design & develop automation software and control systems
- Tune motion control and commission advanced machines
- Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance machine performance
- Work directly with customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Participate in local & overseas project commissioning
