Job summary

Tru-V Logistic Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Operations Executive to coordinate and manage import shipment activities and ensure timely delivery.

You will prepare customs documents, liaise with overseas agents and forwarders, monitor status, handle declarations, and keep customers informed while maintaining accurate records. Strong communication and invoicing experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in import/logistics operations.
• Experience in invoicing and customs documentation preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry accuracy.
• Able to liaise with agents, lines, forwarders and brokers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily import shipment operations.
• Prepare and verify import shipping documents including Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, and customs documentation.
• Liaise with overseas agents, shipping lines, freight forwarders, hauliers and customs brokers.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely cargo clearance and delivery.
• Handle customs declaration and ensure compliance with import regulations.
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment updates and delivery arrangements.
• Resolve shipment issues, delays, or documentation discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate operational records and filing.
