Job summary

Phabritek Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Co-ordinator to manage daily import/export shipments and ensure on-time delivery.

You will prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, COs, permits, and customs declarations, while liaising with freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers. The role requires 2–3 years in import/export or freight forwarding, strong knowledge of trade regulations, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in import/export, shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
• Good knowledge of import/export procedures, shipping documentation, customs clearance, and international trade regulations.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and shipping terms.
• Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, and government authorities.
• Good organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily import and export shipments, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Prepare, review, and maintain import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, COs, permits, customs declarations).
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers for timely shipment arrangements.
• Handle customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Verify shipping documents, duties, taxes, freight charges, and related costs.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and Production on shipment schedules.
• Resolve shipment delays and documentation discrepancies, maintain records and filing of documents.
• Support cost optimization initiatives related to freight, logistics, and transportation.
• Perform other duties related to import/export and logistics operations.
