Job summary

Phabritek Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a logistics professional to coordinate daily import/export shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy of documentation. You will liaise with freight forwarders, brokers, suppliers, and customers, while handling customs clearance and compliance with regulations.

The role requires 2–3 years in import/export, shipping, or freight forwarding, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, international business, business admin, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of import/export, shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding experience.
• Good knowledge of import/export procedures, shipping documentation, customs clearance, and regulations.
• Familiarity with Incoterms and shipping terms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily import and export shipments, schedules, track cargo movements to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare, review, and maintain import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, BLs, and origin certificates.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely shipment arrangements.
• Handle customs clearance processes and ensure compliance with import/export regulations and requirements.
• Verify shipping documents, duties, taxes, freight charges, and other related costs.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and Production regarding shipment schedules and requirements.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, customs issues, and other logistics problems; maintain records and filing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, international trade regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Support cost optimization initiatives related to freight, logistics, and transportation.
• Perform other duties related to import, export, and logistics operations as assigned.
