Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer in Kuala Lumpur (hybrid). You will prospect markets, drive the distributor network if needed, and convert opportunities into customer value by promoting cutting tools and machining solutions.

You will collaborate with Regional Sales Managers, Application Engineers and Finance to deliver tailored solutions, lead sales processes, analyze costs, and contribute to annual plans while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent with experience in mechanical engineering or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cutting tools and business practices.
• Proficiency in Office 365, ERP and CRM.

Responsibilities

• Listen to market, identify opportunities, and update CRM with prospects.
• Present and promote Sandvik solutions; analyze sector sales.
• Lead distribution networks and train distributors.
• Drive business with CRM data and action plans; negotiate price changes.
• Report results to Regional Management and participate in reviews.
