Job summary

Seco Tools in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales objectives by prospecting markets, supporting distribution networks, and translating customer needs into technical solutions for metalworking applications.

You will collaborate with regional teams, manage customer visits, analyze costs, and contribute to pricing and quotations while promoting Seco's tooling and service offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent with industry experience in mechanical/ manufacturing or cutting tools.
• Fields of expertise: mechanical engineering, manufacturing, knowledge of cutting tools and business practices.
• Languages: English native or minimum high proficiency plus additional language skills.

Responsibilities

• Listen to the market and hunt opportunities; update CRM with customer data.
• Manage the sales process: present solutions, prepare quotes, coordinate with internal teams.
• Lead and train distribution partners; animate marketing plans with distributors.
• Drive business through opportunities, CRM data, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Report to senior management and contribute to annual sales plan.
