Job summary

NTT DATA in Malaysia, Petaling Jaya, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to operate, monitor and maintain cloud and virtualized infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, security and compliance. The engineer will provide L2 operational support, troubleshoot incidents, perform changes and participate in infrastructure projects and continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes VMware vSphere/VCF, vSAN, NSX, Windows/Linux administration, incident management and automation using

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in infrastructure, virtualization or cloud operations.
Hands-on experience supporting enterprise production environments.
Experience in an ITIL/SLA-driven operational environment.
Experience with incident, problem and change management.
Experience supporting 24x7 environments or on-call operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Operate and support enterprise cloud infrastructure (VMware vSphere/VCF, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, NSX).
Perform infrastructure health checks, capacity monitoring and performance optimization.
Monitor infrastructure availability and respond to alerts within SLA.
Execute infrastructure changes following approved change-management procedures.
Develop automation to reduce manual tasks and MTTR; improve monitoring and dashboards.
Coordinate with network, security and service-management teams during incidents and maintenance.
