Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a VMware VCF Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to design, deploy, and maintain a private cloud built on VMware Cloud Foundation. The role emphasizes vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, and SDDC Manager with strong automation across lifecycle management.

The candidate will work with Cloud, Security, Network, and Application teams to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure supporting insurance workloads and analytics, with a focus on governance, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, deploying and maintaining private cloud infrastucture based on VCF.
• Deep knowledge of vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, SDDC Manager and lifecycle automation.
• Ability to automate provisioning and patching using common tools (PowerCLI, Python, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain VMware Cloud Foundation components.
• Manage workload domains, clusters, host provisioning and lifecycle operations.
• Implement high availability, DR and scalability for insurance workloads.
• Configure NSX-T, storage policies and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, Network and App-Dev teams.
