Job summary

Johnson Controls in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive the HVAC business, acquire new customers and tailor solutions to client needs. You will build relationships with contractors and end users, prepare quotations and forecast sales, collaborating with finance to ensure timely payments.

You will maintain regular calls and visits, deliver presentations, and expand the customer base to sustain growth with a focus on performance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in Senior Sales in HVAC (chiller), pumps, cooling towers, contractors or medical devices.
• Experience selling to contractors, consultants or company owners, with project handling.
• Knowledge of Building HVAC, Fire Protection and Controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC product sales and acquire new customers.
• Build relationships and present tailored solutions to customers.
• Generate accurate quotations and forecast sales.
• Coordinate with customers on project scope and invoicing.
• Maintain regular calls and visits with dealers, consultants and end users.
• Expand customer base to sustain growth.
• Inform customers of product information and offers.
